Order pacing by turnover, order size by posture, and a price on the desk's schedule

Two trading limits are looser from this release, and the daily loss stop is exactly what it was.

What changed for people using Bellwether

  • Orders a day is now a safety ceiling. The desk is no longer held to a few orders a day. A turnover budget set by your posture bounds the day instead, from a quarter of the book on Preservation to twice the book on Speculative. Behind it sit two ceilings, 36 order decisions an hour and 200 a day.
  • Your posture sets your order size. Below $250,000 the account size rule now caps one order at 40% of the book instead of a fixed dollar amount. A $10,100 Speculative book goes from $1,000 an order to $4,040.
  • The daily loss stop does not move. It keeps its dollar ceiling for your account size, so a stop of $750 stays $750. Where account size holds a number under your posture's, Risk now says so and says what the posture alone would give.
  • A buy past the budget is refused in words. A sell never is, so exits and stops always go out. The day trading rule is unchanged.
  • The schedule has a price. The Schedule card and the Schedule tab of Desk (named "Agent" when this shipped) say how many model sessions a day the desk plans, what that costs a day and a year, and how that compares with the desk's AI budget.
  • A slow broker cannot stall protection. When the broker answers slowly, the trading service keeps placing and moving protective stops, skips the slow reads and tries them again on its next pass.

What you may notice

  • Each book gets one Inbox note the first time the platform starts after the update. It says what got looser and by how much, and the way back is one tap away.
  • The Overview tile that counted new orders now reads Traded today, in dollars against the day's budget.
  • On Risk the orders a day row reads Daily order ceiling at 200 and sits under Account rules. A new row, Most that may change hands a day, shows the turnover budget in dollars and what is used so far today.
  • The Trade sheet's last line says how much of the turnover budget is used, and warns before a buy that would pass it.
  • The Account size panel's table shows 40% of equity as the largest single order for accounts under $250,000, and no longer has an orders a day column.
  • If you had typed your own orders a day number, it still applies exactly as typed.
  • The Scenarios page now prices sessions from the same price list as the Schedule card, so its cost figures changed.
  • The readiness list has a new row, The planned schedule fits the spend cap. It is red on small paper books by design and says why.
  • The page that scores readiness for live trading now counts its gates from the rows it shows.

Switched on

  • The pacing and order size changes apply to every book from this release. There is no switch for them.
  • A calmer standard schedule is included and stays off until a book is moved to it. An Inbox notice says so when that happens and names the way back.

Known gaps and what’s next

  • Small books cost more than their AI budget at today's prices under either schedule. A desk that spends only when an event is worth it comes next.
