Release 46
Warm clay cards on a black page, and Portfolio in three tabs
The page stays black, and the cards, panels and tables you read now sit on warm dark clay tones that stand clear of it.
What changed for people using Bellwether
- Warm cards on a black page. Cards, panels, tables and sheets step up from the page in warm dark tones, so you can see where one ends and the next begins. The lit room behind them and the line under the top bar still follow the desk exactly as before.
- A few colors with jobs. Orange still means the desk is acting or something needs you. A thin light orange rule marks the page and section you are on, cream cards hold your own words, and muted blue, purple, green and tan say who sent something.
- Portfolio in three tabs. Holdings, Orders and Closed trades each get the full page. One sentence under the title says how many names you hold, how many stops are armed and how many orders wait for you, and each count opens its tab.
- Holdings that say why. Open a row to read why the desk holds the name, what would make it sell and what happens next. Orders are written in words, with who chose the time and when an offer lapses.
- Performance in tabs too. Results and Trades are now separate tabs beside Track record, Statement and Evidence. The comparison against SPY after AI cost stays on Results.
What you may notice
- The Today figure on Portfolio is the same number the top bar shows, and at least three whole holdings rows fit on a laptop screen before you scroll.
- After the close, orders that were only good for the day leave the Orders tab. An order parked for tomorrow stays and says when it goes out.
- Old links to the former Portfolio sections open the right tab.
- Table headings and small labels are in sentence case, and long explanations wrap at a narrower, easier line length.
- On a phone, tabs and the links that open more rows are tall enough to tap with a thumb.
- On wide monitors pages use more of the width than before.
- Every picture in Help was taken again on the new colors, and the Portfolio article describes the three tabs.
- Nothing in this release changes what the desk buys or sells.
Switched on
- Nothing is switched on or off by this release.
Known gaps and what’s next
- Portfolio and Performance are the first two screens rebuilt on the new page layout. The other screens have the new colors on their old layout until a later release.
- On Performance, the luck or skill panel and the page header can name trading day counts one day apart.
